As we maintain physical distance from one another to inhibit the spread of the Coronavirus, Mafair UMC is committed to finding new ways to worship the Lord together and maintain community.

We have been holding Sunday Worship and daily Bible devotions on Facebook Live. If you don't use Facebook, or you'd prefer to avoid the hassle of finding the correct video, this will be a help to you.

Come on back to Wednesday Nights!

Mafair has some wonderful things in store for you and your family as 2011 kicks off. Our new and improved Wednesday Night Dinner offerings will satisfy your belly, and our class schedule can feed your brain and soul. As always, the fellowship can't be beat!

Wednesday Night Dinners start back on January 5.  Dinner starts at 5:30pm.  Costs remain $6 per adult and $4 per child with a $15 family maximum.  Children's activities and adult classes begin around 6:15pm.  Childcare is provided.

Spring 2011 Wednesday Night adult classes:
  • Jackie Tranbarger will lead Part 2 of Beth Moore's Daniel Study.  Class begins January 12.
  • Greg Wellman will lead Financial Peace University.  Previews (for those who want to know more about FPU) are available January 5 at 7pm or January 9 at 10am.  Class begins January 19.
  • Kim Goddard will lead her Pastor's Study.
First quarter menu:
  • Jan 5 - Lasagna with meat sauce, large garden salad
  • Jan 12 - Meat loaf, mac and cheese, green beans, garden salad
  • Jan 19 - Sugar cured ham, soup beans, green beans, garden salad
  • Jan 26 - New Orleans chicken, stir-fry or white rice, carrots, fruit salad
  • Feb 2 - Sirloin steak, sweet potatoes, broccoli with cheese, macaroni salad
  • Feb 9 - Baked spaghetti with meat sauce, large garden salad
  • Feb 16 - Chopped steak with onions, baked potato with fixings, lima beans, garden salad
  • Feb 23 - Rotisserie chicken, cornbread stuffing, green peas, fruit salad
  • Mar 2 - Pulled pork BBQ, cole slaw, baked beans, fruit salad
  • Mar 9 - Pot roast with vegetables, corn, fruit salad
  • Mar 16 - Lasagna with meat sauce, large garden salad
  • Mar 23 - Meat loaf, mac and cheese, green beans, garden salad
  • Mar 30 - (Spring Break, no dinner)
