Mafair's latest stream

As we maintain physical distance from one another to inhibit the spread of the Coronavirus, Mafair UMC is committed to finding new ways to worship the Lord together and maintain community.

We have been holding Sunday Worship and daily Bible devotions on Facebook Live. If you don't use Facebook, or you'd prefer to avoid the hassle of finding the correct video, this will be a help to you.

Click here, and you'll find our current livestream (if there's an ongoing broadcast), or the most recent completed livestream. Blessings to you!

Details:
God’s light shines upon us individually so that we can live into the beauty and wholeness in which we were created. But this is not an end in itself, done simply for one’s own benefit. God wants us to be whole because it makes a difference in creation. The Wise Ones who visited the infant Jesus came and left together. The endured the darkness and found the Light… not alone but in community. And it is in community that we find the collective wisdom and resources to know the Light of all people, that our unique beauties and talents are shared, magnified and extended beyond our individual reach. It is in community that we grow and in community that our legacies become reality. During each of our three sessions we will explore our relationships and think about our legacies in both the spiritual and physical
realms. We will also hear from a woman of Mafair about her faith journey. Music and laughter will round out each session.

Saturday afternoon opportunities include the all popular “retail therapy” in Pigeon Forge, scrap booking, board games, hikes, swimming or just relaxing with friends.

A highlight of our weekend will be the theme party on Saturday evening. Further information on attire, etc. for this event will be included in your confirmation packet.
