Mafair's latest stream

As we maintain physical distance from one another to inhibit the spread of the Coronavirus, Mafair UMC is committed to finding new ways to worship the Lord together and maintain community.

We have been holding Sunday Worship and daily Bible devotions on Facebook Live. If you don't use Facebook, or you'd prefer to avoid the hassle of finding the correct video, this will be a help to you.

Click here, and you'll find our current livestream (if there's an ongoing broadcast), or the most recent completed livestream. Blessings to you!

Lyon’s Den

Yes, we're all excited in the changing of the seasons and anticipating the beautiful weather coming our way! It's great getting out and enjoying all the activities in the spring and summer time.  Make sure on your list of To Do's for these next few months that you jot down these happenings:

Music Day Camp for children ages Kindergarten - rising sixth grade: Sunday, July 6 during the Sunday School hour and Monday - Wednesday, July 7 - 9   9:00 AM - Noon.  We will be learning the musical "Daniel"! Our camp will have devotions, singing, acting, making costumes/props, and constructing our set. On Wednesday evening, July 9 we will present the musical for our congregation. Don't miss out on this FUN and INSPIRING week of learning about the Bible story of Daniel in the Lion's Den! Contact Janet now for details and to sign up. There will be transportation offered.

Rehearsals will begin the week of June 15 for our summer drama "Can't We All Just Get Along?" by Martha Bolton. These are comedy sketches on dysfunctional families from the Bible. Rehearsals will be in small groups featuring the separate scenes which should work very well with active summer schedules.  We will present this as a Back-to-Fall Celebration on Wednesday, September 3. Contact Janet and let her know if you'd like to be, well sorta.....part of the dysfunctional family this summer!

Join us for Summer Choir! Our rehearsals will be at 7:00 PM on Wednesdays and we'll enjoy some upbeat anthems to reflect the beauty outside. You don't want to miss singing "Lord Built House" or "In These Things We Live" or "Blessed Be"! Come on out and join us!
