Mafair's latest stream

As we maintain physical distance from one another to inhibit the spread of the Coronavirus, Mafair UMC is committed to finding new ways to worship the Lord together and maintain community.

We have been holding Sunday Worship and daily Bible devotions on Facebook Live. If you don't use Facebook, or you'd prefer to avoid the hassle of finding the correct video, this will be a help to you.

Click here, and you'll find our current livestream (if there's an ongoing broadcast), or the most recent completed livestream. Blessings to you!

New Wednesday Night Classes

New Wednesday evening classes will begin February 13th.  Presently, the following classes are scheduled:

  •  The pastor will continue his study of the book of I Corinthians.

  • Patricia Downs will be leading The Christ Centered Woman, by Kimberly Dunnam Reisman.  This study confronts the daily chaos of competing demands on a woman.  It identifies barriers to balanced living and reveals how being centered in the Savior can help us contemplate, sort out, and prioritize our callings.  (Books need to be ordered.  Please email the church at if you plan to attend.  Suggested donation for the book is $9.)

  • Winson Rawlston will be leading Just Walk Across the Room: Simple Steps to Pointing People to Faith, by Bill Hybels.  "What if you knew that by simply crossing the room and saying hello to someone, you could change that person's life forever?  Just a few steps to make an eternal difference.  It has nothing to do with methods and everything to do with taking a genuine interest in another human being.  All you need is a heart that's in tune with the Holy Spirit and a willingness to venture out of your 'Circle of Comfort' and into another person's life."  (Books need to be ordered.  Please email the church at if you plan to attend.  Suggested book donation is $10.)

  • Carolyn Kidd will be leading Called to Serve, an eight-week study which will focus on identifying and using spiritual gifts, as well as responsibilities as disciples and barriers to service.

Join us as we grow together in one of the most important areas of our Christian life.
